It's here!!!

Our Mother Goose Time curriculum showed up today! I couldn’t wait to open the box and see all the neat goodies inside.

So what is Mother Goose Time you ask?
Mother Goose Time offers a complete preschool program with a different theme each month. It can be used in child care centers with 100 kids or more, home daycares, or as a home school program for only one child. Inside the box is pretty much everything you’ll need for the entire month. You get a Teacher’s Tool Bag, Calendar, music CD, manipulatives, daily packets, and all kinds of other fun things.

Look at all the tons of super cool stuff we got!!

The Welcome Kit is really neat. It comes will all kinds of circle time things. You’ll get:

·         Investigation Stations signs
·         ASL poster
·         Circle Time CD
·         Shapes and Color displays
·         Letters and Sight Words displays
·         Little Helper display
·         Monthly Calendar labels

·         Weather set
·         World Map set

The Teacher’s Tool Bag includes:
·         Teacher Guide
·         Planning Journal

This month is “The Alphabet House” theme. This month we will be covering:
·         Letters: A-Z
·         Numbers: 1-20
·         Shape: Shape review
·         Color: Black
·         Sight Words: for, my, make
·         Character Trait: Helpful
·         Country: Poland

Here is a picture of the theme web for this month. It shows the different subjects that will be covered each week/day and how they relate to the main theme.

I also love that there are different add-on options available so you can customize the curriculum to your individual needs. I added the Little Goose lesson plan supplement for my 2 year old. It will help me adjust the activities and make it easier for her to participate. She was born very premature (11 weeks early and only weighed 2 lbs 1.5 oz) so she still has some delays and sensory issues as well.

We also added the Dance ‘n Beats program because Miss M loves dancing and singing as well as the Experience God program.
I can’t wait to start our first day of “class”!
