In October,
Mother Goose Time gave us an awesome little Pumpkin Patch Celebration Kit!
We put
together a little party and had a blast.
These extra
little kits are really great and have all sorts of things included with them. I
also decided to look up some other ideas for some games to play in addition to
all the great games and activities that Mother Goose Time came up with too.
They also come with their own little teacher guide, invitations, thank you
notes, and materials for games and crafts that can be used with a wide range of
ages. Here are some of the items included with our kit.

Super cute

Here’s a
little bag full of items for our crafts/games.
They even
included a little recipe card for a snack for the little ones to make too! :)
It was really yummy
The first
thing we did was sit down to do a little circle time song and finger play poem.
Miss M loved doing these.
Next, we
played beware of the bat game. You’re supposed to play this game by hiding the
cards under the paper bag pumpkins in your “pumpkin patch” you make with the
kiddos. Since it was just Miss M and we hadn’t gotten to that activity yet…
I just
spread the cards out on the floor and Miss M kinda just made her own game with
these and the pumpkin counting game cards. She had fun matching the cats to the
pumpkins. Well trying to anyways lol.
There was
also a pin the patch on the scarecrow game included. We didn’t get around to
playing this one but we can always do it another day :)
We were also
given items to do a Pumpkin Pounding activity and Pumpkin Seed Search.
Next, Miss M
put on her Halloween costume and we played a few other games that mommy came up
with for our little party.
We played
Pumpkin Bowling
Witch Ring
Toss
Balloon
Catch
And we
played Halloween Eyeball Bounce
We had so
much fun with this celebration kit! We’re definitely looking forward to the
next ones to come.
